Returns Policy
Returns must be reported within 30 days of the original ship date to be eligible for research, potential claim submittal, and possible credits. Please be aware of the following:
•Eligibility: We do not accept returns on firearms or items that have been removed from their original manufacturer packaging.
•Responsibility: You are responsible for all customer service issues, including failed background checks, damages, product defects, warranty issues, wrong items ordered, and other related concerns.
•Restocking Fees: A restocking fee of 15% will be charged on all items. This fee applies to orders refused by the transferring dealer, returned to BlackCatGats, or if the shipment is not accepted by the transferring dealer.
•Firearm Returns: There are no returns on firearms. BlackCatGats will not send return shipping labels directly to transferring dealers. It is your responsibility to obtain firearms to be returned to us.
•Credits: Credits issued for returns will be applied to the originating order or the replacement order if the original has already been paid for. Replacement orders must be entered manually by the dealer.
Shipping Information
•Shipping Locations: We can ship to virtually any address in the world, with some restrictions. However, firearms dropship orders are limited to FFL locations within the continental 48 states only. Orders to Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico are not allowed.
•Shipping Methods: Firearms dropship orders containing only long guns will be shipped via Ground Service, while those containing handguns will be shipped via 2 Day Air Service.
•Order Processing: Orders placed before 8 AM Central time ship on the same business day we are open. Orders placed after 8 AM Central time or on the weekend ship on the next business day we are open. Orders held for credit reasons are not guaranteed to ship the same business day.
•Address Verification: It is your responsibility to validate FFL locations are in business, will perform the required background check, and will legally transfer the firearm to your customer. BlackCatGats will ship firearms dropship orders to the dealer’s premises address only, as dictated by the ATF FFL EZ Check system.
